My baby took his first steps over the weekend! His determination and persistence inspires me. And, of course, this got me thinking about some of the other determined and persistent children I’ve worked with over the years. Even when progress seems as slow and small as those “baby steps” I witnessed from my own little guy, the effects can be monumental. It’s important for us as parents and educators to celebrate those small victories. Each baby step forward is a step closer to achieving IEP goals! What small victories have you had recently?
